On Saturday, May 2, we’re teaming up with the City of Fort Wayne for the Annual Great American Cleanup. We’ll kick things off at Avalon at 8:30 AM with some fellowship and prayer before heading out to spruce up the grounds of Avalon Missionary Church, areas along Airport Expressway, and a few spots around Waynedale. We’ll have special shirts for the first 40 people who sign up to make a difference. All projects are planned to be completed by 12:00 PM.
The City of Fort Wayne is providing work gloves and trash bags. If you're helping along Airport Expressway, Avalon will also have high-visibility vests and trash grabbers to keep you safe and make the job easier. The main focus will be picking up trash and debris in the specified areas. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!
