Sunday Morning Services

We’re really excited about the opportunity we have to regather for our weekly Sunday morning worship services

at 9:00am and 10:45am.

In order to best love and serve our community, while following the guidelines laid out by the CDC, we must have everyone who is planning to attend in person reserve a ticket to one of our services and bring it with you when you attend. You can click the link below to begin!

Helpful Information As You Return To Avalon

SERVICE TIMES: 9:00 AM (Doors open at 8:45am) & 10:45AM (Doors open at 10:30am)

SIGN UP- We are only able to accommodate 100 people per service at this time. Everyone who would like to attend in person service needs to reserve their spot, print their tickets and bring them with. Click HERE to reserve your seat.

ONLINE SERVICE- We encourage all people age 65 and older as well as those with underlying at-risk health conditions to use discretion on when to attend again. Our 10:45am service will be LIVE streamed on our Youtube page.

STAY SAFE- If you’re experiencing any symptoms that are common to the COVID-19 virus, please keep yourself safe (and everyone else safe) by remaining at home for worship.

KIDS- We will be unable to host children’s ministry classes, so plan for your entire family to sit together during the service with parents keeping a watchful eye to ensure appropriate distances. We encourage you to put together a “church bag” with some activities for your younger children to remain engaged during the service. We will be providing coloring sheets and crayons.

SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES- At this time we will be unable to hold Sunday morning in-person classes for students and adults.

MASKS ENCOURAGED- We encourage each attender to wear a face mask. If you do not have a face mask, there will be some available for you in our foyer.

SOCIAL DISTANCE- Please help us by maintaining a distance of 6ft apart from other family units who have chosen to attend. We ask that you refrain from hugging, shaking hands, or physical contact at this time.

SEATING- We’ll carefully space out seating options to encourage appropriate distance between family units. When you arrive our ushers will guide you to your seats. There will be 3 chairs between each family unit.

HAND SANITIZER- We’ll have hand sanitizer readily available, and we encourage you to use it as you enter the building.

GREETERS- We’ll be happy to serve you by opening the exterior doors as you arrive and depart the facility.

COFFEE- We won’t be able to serve coffee at this time.

OFFERING AND GIVING- We encourage you to place your giving at the exits of the sanctuary in our Offering Boxes as you leave. You can continue we give online as well!

FELLOWSHIP OUTSIDE: After our ushers dismiss you, we ask that you not fellowship inside, but exit the building and then enjoy connecting with our church family outside.

SANITIZING- We will be cleaning high touch spaces after each of the service hours.
