People Of Prayer

Who would have thought that 2020 would be such a year of disconnection? Masks. Social distancing. Quarantines. All of it has affected our ability to connect with people and at times has made it difficult to pray. Because of this we are hungry for connection in two ways:

  1. With God

  2. With People

We want to provide an opportunity to help with these connections: Becoming a people of prayer, connected to each other.

This Fall, we want to challenge you to grab a friend or a group of people, sign up for a day & time (morning, midday, or evening) and pray together. You can pray from your home. You can come pray on Avalon's campus. You can pray while you go for a walk. It can be short. It can be long. You can do it once or develop a new pattern or prayer. Let’s fight to stay connected by praying together and in doing so, God will transform us into a people of prayer.
